The composers of the romantic period are in search of mod subject matters, more emotional and are more expressive of their feelings as they are not bounded by structural rules in unsullied music where order, equilibrium, control and perfection are deemed important (Dorak, 2000).The characteristics of romantic music are influenced by the Romantic Movement, where the arts of literature and painting diarrhoea a great role in influencing romantic music. Other unlikeiate of non-musical influences in romantic music is the popularity of roma ntic meter during that era. Other societal practice during romanticism is the Romantic Opera. In comparison to the classical and baroque opera, romantic opera has a continuous flow of music in each scene and soon, tidy sum pay less attention to tenors and pays equal attention to choruses.
